Exactly what I was looking for

Im happy to give this app a five star rating. It streams and plays all kinds of movies from my Synology NAS to my iPad. Easy to set up, works flawlessly. Others I have tried I found difficult to set up, some only stream the mp4 format (the iPad is natively capable of playing that format) and require you to download movies in other formats to the iPad before playing.

I would like to see folder passwords in a future update but it still gets five stars for being the best out there IMHO.
